Sumithra Gomatam

Chairperson

With over 30 years of experience in the IT and BPS industries, Sumitra Gomatam now serves on the Strategic Advisory Services Group of Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division. In this capacity, Gomatam chairs the WhiteSpace Health’s board of directors and she is also a member of Omega Healthcare’s board. Previously, Gomatam held executive roles in Digital Operations, Industry Solutions, and the Testing Practice areas of Cognizant. For 25 years, she was responsible for P&L, and leading global teams to successfully deliver client value.

Anurag Mehta

Co-Founder

Anurag Mehta is the CEO and co-founder of Omega Healthcare Management Services. Under his leadership, Omega has expanded service and product offerings that solve complex administrative and staffing challenges faced by US healthcare organizations. The company now employs more than 35,000 employees across four countries and 11 cities.

Pim Valantagul

Board Member

Pim Valantagul serves as a board member for WhiteSpace Health. As Executive Director/Vice President of Corporate Investing for Goldman Sachs, Valantagul and her team mostly invest in later stage companies, as well as look at new investment opportunities and work to maintain existing ones. She mostly focuses on technology and media investments – a space with lots of opportunity. A Harvard graduate with a degree in statistics, Valantagul began her career with Goldman Sachs as an intern in 2011, and has now been with them full time since 2013.

Gautam Char

Chief Executive Officer

Gautam Char is the President and CEO of WhiteSpace Health. He is a seasoned business leader skilled in health information technology and revenue cycle management. He has a wealth of experience bringing products to market and rapidly growing companies. Most recently, Gautam Char was President of Healthcare at Kriya Capital, an investment firm with a healthcare portfolio that includes patient and RCM products, and services for providers. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at IKS Health as Chief Operations and Technology Officer.
